ECHO TRUST ANNUAL REPORT FOR THE YEAR ENDED 26 FEBRUARY 2010
ECHO is the charity of the leisure industry dedicated to helping sick children.
ECHO, which stands for, Entertainment Organised for Children’s Health, gives people like you the chance to make an immediate and dramatic difference to the lives of thousands of children across the country.
Making waves across the medical profession, the Echo Trust ensures the availability of cash for children’s charities which has never before been possible.

North Hampshire Medical Fund
The North Hampshire Medical Fund received £2,200 to fund a CHUNC Spica Wheelchair which offers full support to a child in a cast. The charity was nominated by Liquid & Envy Nightclub in Basingstoke

Birmingham Children's Hospital
This charity received a grant of £6,012.15 towards the purchase of an MP30 Monitor for the Neonatal Unit. This charity was nominated for a Big Giveaway grant by Oceana, Birmingham

Enhance Herts
This charity, based at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage received £9,895.00 to purchase various pieces of equipment for the Paediatrics Department and the Children's Ward. As nominated by Jumpin Jaks and Chicago Rock Cafe in Stevenage.

Tommy's received £7,740 to purchase a Minus 80 Freezer to aid their medical and clinical research. As nominated by Chicago Rock Cafe in Basildon.

The Children's Trust received £5,000.00 to purchase games for the Trusts' new leisure and sports facility. As nominated by Liquid & Envy in Redhill.

Naomi House Children's Hospice
This very fortunate charity was lucky enought to receive 3 nominations for a grant. The charity received an amazing £14,324!! This donations has been used to purchase 4 electric beds, 4 headboards, 4 TVs/DVDs, 6 bedside cabinets for the family accommodation and 8 TV stands for children's bedrooms. The charity was nominated by Chicago Rock Cafe, Fareham, Life in Andover and Oceana in Southampton.

National Star College
A grant of £5,645 was issued to this charity to purchase equipment for their new multi sensory suite located in Gloucestershire. The charity was nominated by Liquid-Diva in Gloucester.

Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Scotland
This famous charity was awarded a grant of £3002.71 to enable the purchase of a variety of musical instruments and equipment for their Dundee base. The charity was nominated by Liquid & Envy, Dundee.

Nominated by Liquid & Envy Nightclub, Newcastle, this charity received £7,428 to purchase a Hydropool cover, 4 specialised double buggies, a nest swing and standing frames.

The Grand Appeal
This Bristol based charity received £12000 following two nominations. Part of the donation (£5000) was put towards the purchase of a baby ventilator and the remaining £7000 was used to purchase a baby therm. Nominations were received from Oceana in Bristol and Liquid & Diva Swindon.

The Wingate Centre
The charity received £6714.18 to upgrade the entrance doors to the building to allow disabled access. Nominated by Gregory's Nightclub in Nantwich.

Yeovil District Hospital
Modello bar in Yeovil nominated their local hospital for a grant in the Big Giveaway. The hospital's charitable trust received £19,750 which was the biggest grant of this giveaway. They purchased Hot Cots and Handheld Ultrasound Monitors.

Cash For Kids
Liquid & Envy Aberdeen nominated this popular charity who received a grant of £5,569.80. The charity distributed it to other charities waiting on their grants list. The donation helped to fund playtime equipment and adjustable beds amoungst other items.

The Whittington Hospital
Luminar Leisure head office staff nominated the Whittington Hospital in London for a Big Giveaway grant. They received £5,000 which purchased various pieces of children's medical equipment.

The Hillingdon Hospital
This London hospital received £1,900 after being nominated for a Big Giveaway award by The Hippodrome Nightclub in Kingston Upon Thames. The grant purchased vital equipment for the children's ward.

Sunny Days Children's Fund
Liquid & Envy in Colchester nominated this charity who received a grant of £5,000 to purchase equipment such as neonatal puffs, monitors and infusion pumps and much more!

The Noah's Ark Appeal, Cardiff
The Noah's Ark Appeal received £4,975.00 to purchase syringe pumps and volumetric pumps. As nominated by Oceana in Cardiff.

This Luton hospital received £8250 which is the shortfall required to purchase a new Toby Cooling Kit. As nominated by Liquid and Envy Nightclub in Luton.

York Special Care Baby Unit
The Gallery Nightclub in York nominated this special charity to receive £1,900 of their hard earned charity donations which purchased a Nellcor Oximax Portable Oxygen Saturation Recorder to allow nurses to monitor and record oxygen levels in babies without a print out.

Rockinghorse Charity
This wonderful charity received three nominations from Tru and Oceana nightclubs in Brighton and Liquid & Envy nightclub in Crawley. The charity secured £18,674.59 and purchased a SiPAP Unit and other equipment items and equipment for a new sensory room.

This charity was nominated for a Big Giveaway grant by Oceana in Nottingham. They received £5,000 and purchased a new blood pressure monitor.

Bluebell Wood Children's Hospice
This charity received £5500.00 to purchase 3 T34 ambulatory syringe pumps for use on sick children at the hospice. The nominating club was Liquid Diva in Rotherham
