Since its registration in 2003, the Echo Trust has donated money to a number of children's charities across the UK.
Click here to see some of the letters of thanks we receive.
Every year we receive applications from UK based children's charities requesting financial aid for specific pieces of specialised medical equipment.
Echo issues grants three times a year. The last deadline for submissions was 31 August 2010. These awards shall be decided during September/October 2010. There is a maximum limit of £5,000 per grant (the Trustees reserve the right to increase this limit if they feel necessary). All applications must have received a nomination by a Luminar or Atmosphere Bars and Clubs venue. Please visit the News section for further information.
Special Awards
As a special donation Echo awarded £100,000 to Children on the Edge in 2005 following the Tsunami at Christmas 2004. The charity used our donation with matched funding from The Body Shop to create a centre for children in Banda Ache. The centre was fully built and running by 2006 and is now used by hundreds of children each year.
